South Marine Park, South Shields

It’s not often we get a day of sunshine here in Blighty.

So when we do, people tend to grab their sunglasses, put on their flip-flops and rush to either the seaside or the nearest beer garden.

It’s been lovely today and the ladies of my family decided to have a little run out to South Shields.

One of the parks just across the road from the beach is South Marine Park. It’s always a family favourite when the sun is shining, and it’s a really beautiful place.
